i had a great time at this year's Bioneers Conference.

in addition to co-creating a meal with 22 youth who were part of the "Just Us for Food Justice" pre-conference and co-facilitating a workshop with the brilliant, talented, and beautiful Jidan Koon, i designed the menu for Saturday night's conference-wide dinner honoring Farms Not Arms.

i have to admit, i was a bit nervous about its execution since i was not in the kitchen. but in my opinion (and from all available evidence everyone else's), Chef Don Nolan of the Embassy Suites in San Rafel and his team did an AMAZING job!
